Kids Neighborhood Basketball Association (KNBA)
A loosely-organized pick-up basketball games for kids ages 5-11. Created by kids, supported by parents.
Thanks for a great 2024! Check back here in the Spring for 2025 play.
The Rules
Have fun and be a good sport. We ask that everyone contribute to creating a positive atmosphere.
We play by NBA rules with volunteer (parent) referees.
Teams are 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4, depending on number of players each week.
You must be at least 5 years old and no older than 11. All are welcome to play within the age range.
We hope to have enough players for four teams and plan to mix ages and abilities.
Four quarters, 12 minutes each.
8-foot outdoor hoop
There are no team practices, just show up to play the game. Players will be divided onto teams and we will start games, there will be no skill-building or formal coaching.
A parent or guardian should be present during KNBA sessions to be responsible for your player, this is not free childcare or summer camp.
Sign up and let us know you’re coming so we can pre-sort into teams.

There is no fee to play, bring your friends!

About KNBA
KNBA in Boise in was founded by Noel, age 7 in 2022.
He wanted to create the Kids NBA so that kids could stand out as basketball players and have a place to play together.
The 2024 session was our 3rd year!
